Position Overview:
As a Summer Camp Group Leader, you will:
Ensure campers are divided into age-appropriate groups and provided with a safe, engaging, and bully-free environment.
Implement daily camp activities and encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity.
Maintain accurate daily counts of children and adhere to field trip procedures.
Serve as a positive role model for youth by demonstrating respect, loyalty, patience, integrity, courtesy, and maturity.
Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
Must meet state licensing standards with Texas Department of Safety and Health Services or Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
Minimum age:
18 years; High School Degree/G.
E.
D.
or higher education.
Previous childcare experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work outdoors for most of the day and lead activities, including swimming days.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, carry at least 30 pounds, and transition from sitting to standing with ease.
